Water Remediation System
The groundwater recovery system generally consists of the equipment provided by Atlas Environmental. The list below shows a few examples.
- Blower or air compressor (size based on pilot test results).
- Air operated or electrical pumps.
- Miscellaneous flow meters, totalizer, pressure gauges, valves, hoses, level controls.
- Sparging system that includes a simple blower connected to a manifold.
- Manifold for sparge wells with appropriate valves, pressure gauges and controls.
Free Product Removal
Should free product accumulate, then the extracted water and product mixture will be passed through the product/water separator. The product will separate from water due to free gravity and will be collected using a floating/skimming element in the third compartment of the separator and then transferred in approved containers for legal disposal.
